The Makeshift Malibu Mai Tai

Any rum you can find. Feel free to mix light and dark

2 parts oj

1 part pineapple juice

1 part rum

1/2 part Amaretto

My cousin Tina whipped up this impromptu sneeky and said "make a big batch because it goes fast."

We used a lime slice and grapes to adorn our sneeky. If we had a jar of cherries we would have added a little syrup and a cherry with an umbrella.  

The proper Mai Tai

1 1/2 oz white rum

3/4 oz dark rum

1/2 oz fresh lime juice

1/2 oz orange curaçao or Oj

1/2 oz orgeat syrup

1/2 oz grenadine surup

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake shake shake. Pour over a glass filled with ice. Now slowly pour the grenadine over ice and garnish.
